Structures ...

A structure can be initialized by following its definition with a list of initializers for its members:

struct POINT xy = { 10, 20 };

The structure member operator “.” connects the structure name and the member name.

xy.x = 0;
xy.y = 0;

Like a pointer to an ordinary variable, a pointer to a structure can also be defined as follows:

struct POINT* pp;

pp is a pointer to structure of type struct POINT.
