Invoking a Function

  • A function can be called by passing the actual required parameters. The calling function is free to ignore the returned value.
  • Before calling a particular function , the corresponding function prototype/declaration must be provided.
  • The called function can exist in the same source file, other source file, or in the form of an object code in a library.
