Importing existing folder(s)/file(s)

In this how-to, we will learn about how to import an existing file(s) and/or folder(s) into the current project. We will assume that a folder called mixed-c-and-asm exists in your home directory containing some files and folders.

To import existing file(s)/folder(s) into the Eclipse project, Right click on the Project for which you want to add existing file(s) or folder(s) in the Project explorer and select Import as shown in the following screen.

Files/Folders Import Menu

In the Next Screen, Select General>File System and click on the Next> button.

Files/Folders Import Select Menu

Browse to the Directory you want to import, e.g.,~/mixed-c-and-asm and select file(s)/folder(s) you want to import and click Finish button as shown in the following screen.
